It all started in 2004 when CHANV was born thanks to Manon Letarte, a qualified herbalist and cosmetologist, who made her own body care products. Passionate about the benefits of nature, it was love at first sight for what is today considered the best vegetable oil for skincare: hemp oil.

Thirteen years later, CHANV literally takes root when the company is relayed to a new team of young enthusiasts, Dany Lefebvre and Marie-Ève Parenteau.

In 2015, they are licensed by Health Canada to grow and process hemp.
